The Pomeroy difference
A machine-tool specialist does not walk onto a production floor and see undifferentiated iron. Every asset has a specification, a condition history, a market position, and a right price — and confusing any one of those four things costs somebody money. Pomeroy Surplus Sales was built around that orientation. The breadth of what we handle is wide by design: rotational mold equipment, tool and die cells, rubber and silicone lines, and every other discipline across plastics processing and metalworking each present their own valuation variables, and we have done the work to understand them. What does not vary is the standard. A number that cannot be defended in front of a lender or a buyer is not a number — it is a starting point for an argument. We do not traffic in those. Sellers come to us because they want to know what the equipment is actually worth and then move it cleanly. Buyers come because they trust that what we represent has been assessed with care. That reputation is the asset we protect most carefully, and it is the reason the same manufacturers, lenders, and ownership groups return engagement after engagement.
